The Asian Journal was first published in September 1991 in Los Angeles. Today, it is the largest circulated Filipino-American community newspaper in the United States. With six weekly editions from Los Angeles (three times a week) to New York, the Asian Journal is virtually the capital of the Filipino Community in America on print and online. It is the largest circulated Filipino newspaper in America audited by the prestigious Verified Audit Circulation in Southern and Northern California.
The Asian Journal is headquartered in the heart of the Filipino-American community in Los Angeles. It has offices in San Francisco, Las Vegas and New York. Its Asian Headquarters is in Makati City, Philippines.
The Asian Journal covers a whole new spectrum of news, views and features from the Philippines, and a special focus on people and community events. And we’re big on love of country.
Freshly redesigned, the Asian Journal has become a page-turner, a feast for the eye. Contentwise, it is well-written, well-researched, the perfect food for thought.
The Asian Journal is the flagship publication of Asian Journal Publications.
AJP's latest addition is balikbayan and is already going places.
The Asian Journal is also making music history as the founding force behind FASO, the first Filipino-American Symphony Orchestra in Los Angeles.
