ASEAN Ladies Circle Tea Gathering Features Filipino Art

BEIJING 01 October 2018 – Ladies of the Philippine Embassy in Beijing hosted a tea gathering of the ASEAN Ladies Circle (ALC) featuring the art works of Beijing-based Filipino artist Jensen Moreno.

Entitled “World Class,” the exhibit was held at the Embassy’s Sentro Rizal on 21 September 2018.

Ms. Moreno earned her undergraduate and master’s of Fine Arts from the University of Sto. Tomas in the Philippines. She is a visual arts teacher at the Joy El International Academy Beijing and Kemsley Academy.

She started her fifth exhibit entitled “Hall of Fame” at the A.C. Art Museum Hotel, from 27 May to 10 June 2018.

For refreshments, the Embassy served Filipino favorites such as pancit, chicken spring rolls, chicken lollipop, and tuna sandwiches as well as maja blanca, and biko as desserts.

The Embassy also distributed tourism bags and greeting cards with photos of Ms. Moreno’s art works.
